Robert Amos Awarded Booksellers’ Choice Award at 2021 BC and Yukon Book Prizes

TouchWood Editions is pleased to announce that The E. J. Hughes Book of Boats by Robert Amos has won the Bill Duthie Booksellers’ Choice Award at the 37th annual BC and Yukon Book Prizes. The online ceremony was held on Saturday, September 25 and awarded prizes in eight annual categories, with two awards also given to writers for their body of work and contributions to the literary community. 

Delighted with his first BC and Yukon Book Prize win, Robert Amos shared, “The Bill Duthie Booksellers’ Award! That’s as good as it gets!  I feel very honoured, especially considering all the fascinating books being produced in BC and the Yukon.” The Bill Duthie Booksellers’ Choice Award is presented to the originating publisher and the author of the book that is the most successful in terms of public appeal, initiative, design, production, and content. “Thanks to my wonderful publisher, TouchWood and all their staff.” Amos adds, “ Bookmaking really is a team sport and they’re the best.”
