About the Book

Labrador is about a part of the world that practically no one knows anything about — Canada’s own Siberia. And because your tour guide is the lovely and talented TJ Dawe, it’s also about the cycle of generations, how the hell bread got invented, the blurry line between fact and fiction, why schedule needs to be pronounced with a k sound, and how aliens and archaeologists are the same.

About the Author(s)

TJ Dawe is a Vancouver based writer, performer and director of new theatre, specializing in autobiographical stories. His co-written play Toothpaste and Cigars became the feature film The F Word, starring Daniel Radcliffe, Zoe Kazan and Adam Driver. He regularly mines his life for monologues, which he's toured to more than one hundred theatre festivals. He leads workshops on solo shows, developing a creative practice, and the personality types of The Enneagram. He’s co-created stage parodies of Sex and the City, Stranger Things, The Walking Dead, adapted the blog PostSecret, and the podcast Serial Killers.
