Robert H. Jones was an award-winning outdoor writer whose articles and columns appeared across the continent, in magazines such as BC Outdoors, Sentier Chasse Peche, Western Outdoors, Ontario Out of Doors and Canadian Fishing Annual. He fished all over the world, but made his home in Courtenay, British Columbia. He passed away in 2008.
